Scientists In Singapore Find Potential Treatment For Heart Disease

Singapore scientists at the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), a biomedical research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR); the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Ling School of Medicine and the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), recently collaborated with colleagues from the US, Europe and Asia in a study which identified new genes that could be important in determining blood lipid levels.
