PETALING JAYA: A total of 31 MPs and 11 senators have backed a campaign to stop the slated hanging of 22-year-old Sabahan, Yong Vui Kong, in Singapore. Also on the list was Perkasa boss Ibrahim Ali, and independent MPs Wee Chee Keong and Zulkifli Noordin.According to the “Save Vui Kong Campaign” coordinators, 21 Pakatan MPs, including DAP supremo Karpal Singh, and eight MPs from Barisan Nasional, have inked their support.
“We've received good response from the public as well,” said coordinator Ngeow Chow Ying, who added that a total of 14,000 signatures had been collected. Full Story
