Morgan Stanley's sale of 34.3 percent equity in Chinese investment bank China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC) was approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) recently, and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), the country's sovereign wealth fund, becomes the firm's second-largest shareholder, according to a Caijing report.
