It seems that when it comes to encouraging innovation and invention, the "standard approach" in every country that Edward Jung has come across, is one that attempts to replicate Silicon Valley.
As a concept, or as an environment, the Valley is indeed seductive. Yet, nobody has been able to replicate it, said Jung - or at least not on a similar scale - for "those guys" have been doing it since the 1950s.
