COMMUNICATIONS minister Eamon Ryan has informed Eircom's owners that they must strengthen collaboration between the Government and the regulator.In a meeting with the chief executive of Singapore Technologies Telemedia (STT), the majority owner of Eircom, Mr Ryan said that they needed to "give up something good in order to get something better" to further develop Ireland's telecoms infrastructure.
STT has stressed that its approach "will enable Eircom to play an important role in building Ireland's smart economy". Link
