SINGAPORE: StarHub, Singapore's second largest telecommunication company, reported on Thursday a lower-than-expected 29 per cent fall in its second quarter net profit, hurt by higher operating expenses.The company, 56.8 per cent owned by Singapore Technologies Telemedia -- a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, earned S$56.2 million in the April-June quarter compared to S$78.7 million a year ago.
