SINGAPORE, 18 JUNE 2008 - Today, 92 per cent of households with school-going children in Singapore own a computer, according to the latest annual Survey on Infocomm Usage in Households and Individuals, by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).
This highlights the increase in info-communications usage, which includes owning computers and having broadband Internet access, among Singaporeans, said RADM(NS) Ronnie Tay, Chief Executive Officer, IDA.
