Cheapskate F1 organizer looking for people to volunteer as race officials to save cost

SINGAPORE: From track mashals to flag marshals -- those interested to volunteer as race officials for the 2014 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix can now apply online.
Race promoter Singapore GP said a total of 180 positions are available in key trackside functions, including observers and fire marshals.
Now in its seventh year, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated sporting and entertainment events in the Asian calendar, featuring a weekend of thrilling race action and star-studded performances. Full story
