The Traffic Police said on Thursday that there have been more dangerous or reckless driving offences over the last few years.
In 2012, there were 243 reckless driving offences -- a 22 per cent increase from 199 in 2010. The number of speeding violations also went up some 18 per cent in the first half of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.
From January to June 2012, there were 109,960 violations. For the same period in 2013, there were 129,578.
The number of violations has also increased in the past three years, from 205,623 in 2010 to 245,427 in 2012. Full story
