Singapore's GIC reports "steady" 4 pct real returns

SINGAPORE, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), which manages the city state's foreign reserves, reported a 20-year annualized real return of 4 percent, the sovereign wealth fund said on Friday.
This represents an improvement from the 20-year annualized real return of 3.9 percent reported last year.
Over the 20 years up to March 31 this year, GIC's nominal annualized returns in U.S. dollar terms was 6.5 percent, it said in its annual report.
It described the returns as "steady". Full story
