Singapore govt insists there is no improper technology transfers to Huawei

The Singapore government has said that it will support calls for a fresh investigation in the apparent suicide of an American engineer, Dr. Shane Todd who had been working a project for Huawei at the time of his death.
Although his death in June 2012 was ruled as suicide, there have been lingering concerns about the investigation, which were heightened by a major newspaper report earlier this year which cast doubt on the verdict.
Dr. Todd had been working with the Institute for Micro Electronics (IME), part of the Singaporean government-run Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) involving a gallium nitride-powered amplifying device for the Chinese telecom company Huawei. Full story
