Indonesian police busts child trafficking ring selling babies to Singapore

INDONESIAN police say they have arrested seven women involved in an alleged child trafficking ring suspected of selling dozens of babies since the 1990s, some of them in Singapore.
"We arrested seven women involved in buying and selling babies in early January in West Jakarta," city police spokesman Rikwanto told AFP on Thursday.
Rikwanto, who goes by one name, said police suspected babies plucked from Indonesian hospitals and given false identities were listed on the manifests of several flights to Singapore and were likely being sold there. Full story
