The ‘Foreign Talent’ who fled home to China after a police report was made against him for allegedly uttering racist remarks against Singapore women, is reportedly back in Singapore, this time on a work visa – according to a post on ‘his blog’ at Sina (China).
PRC Wang Peng Fei left Singapore for China (right under the police’s nose) on 26th July 2011 after learning that a police report was lodged against him on 24th July 2011 for uttering racist remarks against Singapore women in a self-made video clip which went viral in cyberspace.
The then 24-year-old Wang came to Singapore on a student visa in 2008 to study at the East Asia Institute of Management (EAIM). Wang was in the final year of his studies in hospitality management at EAIM when he was expelled by the school and forced to ‘flee’ because of the allegedly racist video. Wang’s student visa was reportedly revoked and his course fees amounting to $10,000 was forfeited. Full story
