Ang Mo Kio becomes a drug addicts hangout. Where is the police?

Some residents in Ang Mo Kio are complaining that drug addicts have invaded their estate in Avenue 5 and 10.
Some, they say, are even brazenly knocking on their doors to ask for money, presumably to buy drugs.
According to them, the alleged addicts are often seen hanging out at a coffeeshop in Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 in the evenings to wait for their drug dealer. Full story
