Singapore prime minister urges couples to have more babies

Singapore - Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong Wednesday urged couples to have more babies in the upcoming Chinese lunar year of the rabbit after the city-state's fertility rate hit an all-time low last year.
In 2010, a tiger year, Singapore's fertility rate dropped to 1.16 children per woman, with the rate for the dominant ethnic Chinese population even lower at 1.02, according to official statistics. Full story
