An Indian national was nabbed at the Bandaranayake International Airport (BIA) last night while attempting to smuggle out of the country a stash of foreign currency, police and airport officials said today.They said the man who was not identified had on his possession 16, 000 Sterling Pounds and 39,000 Euros equal to SLR 700,000.
The man who had arrived from a north Indian state was planning to take a flight to Singapore, the officials added. Link
