Singapore, Korea Sign Tax Agreement

On May 24, 2010, Singapore and South Korea signed a protocol to incorporate the internationally agreed standard for the exchange of information for tax purposes upon request in their existing Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation of November 6, 1979.
The protocol allows the competent authorities to exchange relevant information for the administration or enforcement of the domestic laws concerning taxes of every kind and description. Full Story
