Singapore-hopper in Customs net

BANGALORE: At 24, Vijay Anand from Chennai had visited Singapore more than 20 times. Well-dressed and a suave talker, Vijay posed as an executive
of a multinational company. But his luck ran out on Wednesday, when Customs sleuths intercepted him at Bangalore International Airport.
The sleuths confiscated cameras and video cameras worth over Rs 17 lakh, which he had smuggled in from Singapore. Officials said Vijay was only a carrier of the goods and supplied them to dealers in Chennai.
