Early win for Singapore Airlines

SINGAPORE Airlines has won the first round of Federal Court battle against claims that it was involved in illegal price-fixing over the carriage of air cargo.
Federal Court judge Peter Jacobson ruled that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which alleged that SIA's cargo division was involved in an illegal freight cartel, had failed to properly specify material facts to support various allegations.
