DOHA: Singapore residents in Doha recently hosted a reception to mark 25 years of their country’s diplomatic relations with Qatar and the visit of President S R Nathan here.
“Singaporeans in Qatar play an important role in promoting understanding and friendship between the people of our two countries. Singaporeans and Singaporean companies are well respected in the Middle East. Their leaders are eager to work together with us and adapt the Singapore model where appropriate in their country.” said Nathan, the President of Singapore, while speaking on the occasion.
