BANGKOK, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Thailand anti-drug authorities on Wednesday seized assets valued at over 83 million baht (2.44 million U.S. dollars) from two Singaporeans, alleged major drug traffickers, the Thai News Agency reported.
Thai Justice Minister Somsak Kiatsuranont was quoted as saying that the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) along with personnel from four other government agencies searched 13 locations in Bangkok and four other sites in Thai North virtually simultaneously on Wednesday, confiscating assets alleged to belong to two men identified as Wong Hong Hin and Foo Moo Yoong.
However, the suspects had already left Thailand, Somsak said.
