Singapore's loansharking and related harassment cases have fallen by 9.3 percent in the first six months.
A total of 4,755 cases were reported from January to June, compared to 5,240 cases over the same period last year.
Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Wong Kan Seng disclosed these figures in his written reply to questions from a lawmaker in Parliament on Tuesday.
