The latest price survey was done on 9 & 10 Jul 2008. Price changes are seen in the following cateogory:

1. Uncooked Food
2. Medical
3. Utility

Uncooked Food
There are price changes to 4 items: NTUC Fairprice Thai white rice 5kg rose by 6.92% over last month, while the fragrance rice deep slightly by 0.67%. Fairprice instant noodles (5pkt) rose by a hefty 13.79% over last month and eggs is up by 9.68%.

Medical
SGH inpatient room rates rose in all the 3 classes selection:

1. C class rose the highest by 7.69% from $26 a day to $28.
2. B class rose by 7.55% from $53 a day to $57.
3. B+ class rose by 6.6% from $106 a day to $113.

Utility
Electricity tariff rose by 4.98% wef 1st Jul 08. Per kWh rate rose from 0.2388 to 0.2507.
