Over 300 workers at a Singaporean factory in the central province of Quang Nam went on strike Tuesday demanding higher wages.
The strike at the electronics company CCI ended Thursday after company leaders promised to consider increasing workers’ salaries.
According to the workers who went on strike, a skilled employee with years of experience at the company is paid VND860,000 (US$54) a month.
The workers said the rate is too low amid soaring inflation.
