Goodman sells Singapore jv to pay debt

Goodman Group has sold its stake in a Singapore-based property joint venture company for $S282 million ($A218 million) and will use the proceeds to retire debt.

The integrated property group that owns, develops and manages industrial and business space globally, offloaded its 40 per cent stake to its partner, Ascendas.

Goodman also has sold its 6.8 per cent stake in a real estate investment trust (REIT) managed by the joint venture called the Singapore-listed A-REIT.
