Singapore - An accused terrorist was still believed to be in Singapore five days after his escape from a tight-security detention centre without food, money or transportation, Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng said Sunday.

He urged Singaporeans to report any missing clothing, stolen bicycles or food while the manhunt reaching unprecedented proportions continued for Mas Selamat Kastari.

Wong, also head of the home affairs ministry, said Mas Selamat's escape from the Internal Security Department's centre while in the toilet Wednesday was the result of a "physical breach," but would not elaborate.
