inSing.com, 31 Jan 2012A man has been acquitted of molest after agreeing to pay $10,000 to his victim.
According to The Straits Times, Ukrainian Mr Sierkov Sergii had molested an air stewardess on board a Singapore Airlines flight from Moscow in November last year.
The 35-year-old man apologised in court and paid the victim $10,000 accompanied by an apology yesterday (30 Jan).
This is not the first such case where molesters get away by paying their victims.
Another such case was reported in The Straits Times on 12 January this year, where a Finnish man paid his victim $5,000 and apologised to her in court. Full story
