Demand for construction in Singapore expected to dip

Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority believes private-sector construction demand could fall to between S$8 billion (US$6.19 billion) and S$12 billion (US$9.5 billion) in 2012, from S$16.8 billion (US$13.3 billion) last year. The drop is being blamed on global and domestic economic uncertainty which is affecting the domestic market. Full story
