Singapore said its economic growth may slow next year, extending a moderation in expansion that’s already prompted the central bank to ease monetary policy.
The economy will grow 1 percent to 3 percent in 2012 after expanding 5 percent this year, the trade ministry said in a statement today. Gross domestic product rose an annualized 1.9 percent last quarter from the previous three months, when it fell a revised 6.4 percent, the ministry said.
