The Public Transport Council's (PTC) decision to allow for a 1 per cent fare increase is fair and balanced, said Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on Monday.
Making his first comments on the fare hike since the PTC announced its decision last Friday, Minister Lui was quoted by Channel NewsAsia as saying, "I was particularly pleased that the concession for the senior citizens has been extended to the whole day." Full story
