Yahoo! Singapore News, 1 Jun 2011New National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan has been appointed chairman of the People's Action Party's (PAP) new central executive committee (CEC).
Minister Khaw will take over Lim Boon Heng, who retired from politics before the recent General Elections. He will remain a member in the CEC.
The CEC membership remains unchanged, comprising 12 members elected at last year's PAP party conference and six co-opted members. Full story
