ernama.com, 11 May 2011SINGAPORE, May 11 (Bernama) -- Strong tripartite cooperation among the government, employers and unions plays a vital role in addressing the increasingly volatile and uncertain global economic landscape.
Singapore's Minister for Manpower, Gan Kim Yong, said businesses, unions, workers and the government needed to work together to respond to these challenges.
"This relationship of mutual trust and respect was developed and strengthened over the decades, and one that we will continue to nurture and deepen," he said at the 2nd International Trade Union Confederation For Asia and the Pacific regional conference here Wednesday. Full story
