Singapore's SingTel says Temasek's Israel to become new chairman

May 9 (Reuters) - Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) , Southeast Asia's biggest telecom firm, said its chairman Chumpol NaLamlieng is stepping down and will be replaced by Simon Israel, a senior executive from state investor Temasek .
Israel, who will leave his current post as executive director and president of Temasek Holdings in July, will be the second senior executive moving into a senior role in a company controlled by the state investor in the last few weeks. Full story
