Malaysia arrests Singapore businessman on suspicion of helping fund Philippine militants

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysian police say they have arrested a Singaporean businessman suspected of channeling funds to southern Philippine militants.
National police Chief Ismail Omar says Abdul Majid Kunji Mohamad was arrested under a law that allows indefinite detention without trial of people regarded as security threats. Full story
