A video circulating on the Internet of a meeting between Burma's former spymaster Khin Nyunt and the country's current police chief has political observers wondering about its source and significance.
The 70-year-old Khin Nyunt was Burma's feared military intelligence chief and first prime minister of the ruling regime until he was placed under house arrest in October 2004 after being ousted in a power struggle with junta chief Snr-Gen Than Shwe.
Singapore's senior statesman, Lee Kuan Yew, once described him as “the most intelligent” of the ruling generals. Full story
