KUALA LUMPUR: Sabah-born Yong Vui Kong, in death row for a drug offence in Singapore, will have his appeal heard in January.The Singapore Court of Appeal will hear Yong’s appeal case against the High Court’s decision on his judicial review application in January, according to news reports.
The portal said Yong’s lawyer, M. Ravi, was informed by a letter from the Registrar of the Supreme Court that the appeal hearing had been set for Jan 17. Full story
