Singapore mulls switch to Euro IV gasoline, but no time frame set

The Singapore government is in consultation with the oil industry to adopt Euro IV-equivalent emission standards for gasoline-fueled vehicles, but no specific time frame was given, the country's National Environment Agency told Platts recently.
"We are still consulting the oil industry on the lead time needed to supply higher quality gasoline. No time frame has been set at this moment on the adoption of a higher emission standard or the Euro IV emission standard for petrol vehicles," the NEA said in an e-mail reply. Full story
