Singapore Outlines 10 Year Plan For Integrated Patient Care

Minister Khaw Boon Wan said Singapore has achieved good outcomes while keeping health care expenditures at less than 4% of GDP.
It can deliver good, affordable episodic care of acute conditions, but has not yet been able to consistently integrate care for those with multiple or complex chronic conditions.
The priority over the next 10 years will be to integrate care for patients and help them transit seamlessly among different providers. This will especially benefit elderly patients. Full Story
