The Singapore Government does not seem to be losing sleep, as two overseas players — India's Fortis Healthcare and Malaysia's Khazanah — battle over its leading healthcare-provider, Parkway Holdings.
Medical collaborations across the globe are a positive sign, and will help Singapore strengthen its position as a global medical hub, Professor K. Satku, Singapore's Director of Medical Services, told Business Line. He was participating at the 6 {+t} {+h} Asian interventional cardiovascular therapeutics congress in Singapore.
“My ministry welcomes such a development,” he said, adding that the final aim is that both the public and private components of healthcare continue to grow in the country. Full Story
