SINGAPORE -- Singapore Airlines has lifted a freeze on its cadet pilot recruitment which was imposed early last year when the global economic downturn saw air travel plummet. The Straits Times has learnt that walk-in interviews were held over a weekend about two weeks ago.
Spokesman Nicholas Ionides confirmed that hiring has resumed to meet future operational needs but did not say how many trainee pilots will be recruited, adding that there is no fixed number. Full Story
