Singapore Spends Billion Dollars On R&D

SINGAPORE, Dec 23 (Bernama) - Singapore's spending on research and development (R&D) activities is expected to reach the targeted rate of 3.0 per cent of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) next year.
The city-state last year spent a record high of S$7.13 billion on R&D which was 2.77 per cent of its GDP compared with S$6.33 billion in 2007.
