Singapore aims to become the trusted global media capital. As a testament to the growing role of Singapore many international deals were sealed by the Singapore media enterprises in the recently held Asia Media Festival 2009. Several events and exhibitions were also staged to showcase the infrastructure prowess and plans of the industry.The MDA is building the Mediapolis, a large-scale media complex which will be completed by 2020 at One-North, a research and development district in the country.
