CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- On the eve of the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Singapore security workers traveled to the West Virginia State Police Academy on Thursday to learn how they can make their country a safer place by improving their police training.
The four Singaporese represented the Home Team Academy, the Southeast Asian island nation's rough equivalent to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. For one week, they're examining how various U.S. police and federal agencies train their agents.
