Work to build Singapore’s £5bn Downtown Line 2 (DTL2) began last week.
The 16.6km DTL2 will have 12 stops and is expected to be completed by 2015, cutting commuter times by up to 30% between Bukit Panjang and Bukit Timah and the city.
