Push for gender balance in Singapore parliament

Singapore's government is encouraging more women to participate in national politics.
Currently, women MPs make up 20 per cent of Singapore's parliament and earlier this year Lin Hwee Hua became the first woman to be made Minister in the Prime Minister's Office.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says the ruling People's Action Party will work "very hard" to field more women candidates in the next general elections.
