IT seems that many among the public are in favour of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail project suggested by YTL. After all, high speed sounds good. High-speed rail is good for the environment, and having a private company initiate the project is good for the economy. But I feel that the proposal is inappropriate right now.
