YANGON, MYANMAR: Singapore has donated US$1 million worth of fertilizer to rice farmers in the region of Myanmar devastated by Cyclone Nargis in May, its ambassador said Monday (29 Sept).
The fertilizer will be distributed with the assistance of the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization and other international agencies, Singapore Ambassador Robert Chua said.
