SINGAPORE (AFP) — Anti-narcotics officers in Singapore said on Wednesday they had made their largest seizure of heroin in six years.

Two Malaysians and a Singaporean arrested in the drugs swoop will face the death penalty if convicted, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a statement following the seizure of 10.8 kilograms (24 pounds) of the drug on Monday.

The CNB did not release the street value of the heroin but an official told AFP it was biggest seizure in six years.
