Singapore articulated its plans to be a world power in digital economy on Tuesday at CommunicAsia 2008, a major trade show for Information and Communications Technology Industry, held at Singapore Expo starting from June 17-20.
The state’s information society leaders said it believes that Singapore has the potential to be a regional hub for digital media hosting and service delivery in Southeast Asia, and its plan to build a new, next-generation network will help it materialize this vision.
