Singapore (ANTARA News) - Singapore on Thursday downgraded its economic growth outlook for this year, citing increasing downside risks spawned by a slowdown in the United States.

Gross domestic product (GDP), the value of all goods and services produced in the country, is now expected to expand at a rate of 4.0-6.0 percent instead of 4.5-6.5 percent, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) was quoted by AFP as saying.
